platforms end-to-end, driving performance, automation, and reliability at scale while contributing to cloud transformation and platform engineering initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn Oracle database environments across lifecycle (Dev/Test/Prod) with end-to-end accountability for availability and performance\nLead database installation, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management\nDrive proactive performance tuning and optimization strategies\nDefine and implement robust backup and recovery strategies (RMAN)\nDesign and manage high-availability architectures (RAC, Data Guard)\nLead troubleshooting of complex incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive long-term fixes\nDrive automation-first approach using Shell, PL/SQL, Ansible, Terraform\nCollaborate with cloud, platform, and application teams for integrated delivery\nEnsure compliance with operational governance (patching, change, security standards)\nMentor junior DBAs (G4) and uplift overall team capability\nRequired Skills\n Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database (19c/21c)\nAdvanced SQL and PL/SQL expertise\nDeep expertise in RMAN backup/recovery\nStrong experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard\nAdvanced performance tuning and query optimization\nStrong Linux/Unix system administration\nStrong scripting and automation capabilities\nPreferred Skills\nHands-on experience in OCI / AWS cloud database environments\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform)\nExposure to Avaloq platform and banking domain systems\nFamiliarity with observability/monitoring
