We are looking for a motivated trainee to join our Trade Processing & Settlement team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in banking operations and financial markets, while developing a solid understanding of the post-trade lifecycle of investment funds and securities. The trainee will work in a dynamic international environment, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders and contributing to the delivery of accurate, timely and high-quality operational services.
Your key tasks
- Processing of stock exchange trades (mainly bonds, equities, eft and funds) in Avaloq Banking Suite
- Settlement of Delivery and Receive versus payment
- Ensuring that all transactions are processed correctly and settled in a timely manner
- Monitoring settlement operations and failed trades
- Follow-up and coordination with clients, trading desks and custodians
- Cash and Securities reconciliation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities
- Service-oriented mindset and strong team-player attitude
- Proactive, reliable and motivated to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Italian; knowledge of German is considered an advantage
