Delivery experience is what makes that credible.\nWhat You'll Do\nPre-Sales & Solutioning (Primary Focus)\nPartner with Avanade's sales team as the technical solution authority on strategic pursuits and bids.\nLead discovery workshops and client envisioning sessions to define solution scope, architecture, and approach.\nTranslate complex business challenges into compelling, commercially viable technical solutions.\nDevelop and defend solution proposals, estimates, and presentations at C-suite and technical decision-maker level.\nShape the technical narrative in RFP responses, ensuring solutions are differentiated, realistic, and deliverable.\nBuild trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders during and beyond the sales cycle.\nFlex your seniority to the situation - operating as an architect-level voice on complex enterprise deals or as a strategic thought leader when clients need technology direction.\nClient Delivery & Technical Oversight\nTake accountability for solution integrity from presales through to delivery - ensuring what was sold gets built.\nProvide technical leadership across frontend (Angular, React, Vue), backend (.NET / ASP.NET Core), and cloud (Microsoft Azure) engagements.\nGuide teams on architecture decisions, cloud-native design, CI/CD practices, and engineering standards.\nAct as an escalation point for technical risk, quality, and delivery assurance on active engagements.\nOversee DevOps practices including Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, and YAML-based pipelines.\nEnsure data and integration patterns are fit for purpose across SQL, NoSQL, and API-driven architectures.\nPeople & Practice Development\nMentor and develop a team of engineers, supporting career growth, skills development, and engineering culture.\nContribute to the Apps & Infrastructure practice - sharing IP, shaping offerings, and raising the bar on how we solution and deliver.\nChampion a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and collaboration across technical and commercial teams.\n.\nWhat You Bring\nMust-Have\nProven experience in a pre-sales, solutioning, or technical bid role - you've shaped and won deals, not just delivered them.\nStrong technical background across modern application development (frontend, backend, API) and Microsoft Azure cloud architecture.\nAbility to build and present compelling solution narratives to both technical audiences and business decision-makers.\nExperience leading or contributing to RFP responses, estimates, and client workshops.\nComfortable operating at multiple seniority levels depending on deal complexity and client maturity.\nStrong communication skills in both English and Dutch (fluent in both - required).\nStrong Advantage\nFamiliarity with Avanade or Microsoft partner ecosystem, offerings, or go-to-market motions.\nExperience with DevOps tooling: Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes.\nBackground in team leadership or technical people management.\nKnowledge of CI/CD best practices and modern engineering productivity tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot).\nExperience across SQL and NoSQL databases and data-driven application design.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYou're regularly in pursuit teams, and your involvement improves win rates.\nClients ask for you by name - as an architect, an advisor, or both, depending on what the engagement needs.\nSolutions you shape get delivered successfully - because you built them to be deliverable.\nYour team develops stronger solutioning and client-facing skills over time.\nJoin Us\nAt Avanade, we sit at the intersection of Microsoft technology and human ingenuity.
