This role operates within Avanade’s Security and Infrastructure practices and works closely with client IT and security teams to deliver identity solutions aligned to business and security outcomes.\nThe Digital Identity Consultant (Entra ID) is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting modern identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID. The role helps clients strengthen security, improve user experience, and modernize authentication and access patterns through MFA, SSO, conditional access, and passwordless strategies.\nThis is a client-facing role that requires strong technical expertise combined with consulting and communication skills. The role contributes to delivery excellence while supporting Avanade’s identity practice growth and alignment with Microsoft security strategies.\nThe Consultant will design and implement Microsoft Entra ID solutions including:\nSingle Sign On (SSO)\nConditional Access\nMulti Factor Authentication (MFA)\nPrivileged Identity Management (PIM)\nIdentity Governance and Access Reviews\nLead IAM lifecycle processes such as joiner-mover-leaver (JML) automation, provisioning, and deprovisioning\nSupport hybrid identity scenarios, including Entra ID Connect / hybrid sync and application provisioning (SCIM)\nContribute to or lead Zero Trust identity architectures integrating Entra ID with broader Microsoft Security capabilities\n.\nJob Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.\n6+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management or cybersecurity, including leadership of delivery workstreams or projects.\nStrong hands on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and identity governance.\nPreferred Certifications\n-SC 300 (Identity and Access Administrator)\n-SC 100 (Cybersecurity Architect)\n-SC 900 (Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals)\n-Additional IAM or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, vendor IGA tools) are a plus.\nCompensation at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
