This role is accountable for evolving the service in response to market demand, building a network of sellers and internal partners, and ensuring sustained relevance, scalability, and commercial viability.\nThe successful candidate will combine demonstrated business and consulting skills with relevant experience working with technical solutions and teams. They should be able to qualify opportunities, tailor the capability to client needs, and identify key effort drivers while partnering with technical leaders on detailed architecture and estimates. Familiarity with modern data platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks is important, but this is not a hands-on technical role.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperationalize capability’s strategy, activating the market, and establishing the priorities, partnerships, and execution discipline needed to scale \nBuild a network of internal partners to create awareness, alignment, and sustained demand. Use seller, client, and delivery feedback to refine the capability over time \nLead opportunity qualification by translating client needs into the right service configuration, scope, delivery approach, and commercial proposition. Partner with technical architects to validate architecture, estimates, assumptions, and feasibility \nEngage senior client stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate complex data challenges into practical solutions and roadmaps \nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for executives, sellers, architects, and engineering teams \nMaintain continuity from opportunity shaping through delivery, keeping client expectations, contractual commitments, and capability standards aligned \n.\nExperience in consulting, technical architecture, or capability development across enterprise data, analytics, cloud, or related technology services\nStrong client advisory skills and the ability to connect technical investments to business outcomes for business and technology leaders\nExperience in business development, pre-sales, opportunity qualification, solution shaping, or proposal development\nBroad knowledge of enterprise data architecture, engineering, analytics, governance, and cloud platforms. Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks, with enough depth to discuss solution options, tradeoffs, delivery implications, and effort drivers with clients and technical teams\nStrong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to navigate ambiguity, take initiative, and turn emerging ideas and client demand into repeatable business opportunities\nWe anticipate this job posting will be posted on 10/21/2026 and open for at least 21 days.\nCompensation at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
