We promise to invest in you and help give you the platform for continuous learning and development.\nAs a Power Platform Engineer, you will design and implement end-to-end Copilot Studio and Power Platform solutions that enable automation, intelligent assistance and process improvement for clients.\nThe role combines solution design, hands-on development, stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.\nYou will work across the full solution lifecycle-from discovery and requirements capture through to development, deployment, adoption, optimisation and upskilling.\nKey Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will:\nEstablish and grow client Power Platform capabilities, enabling powerful automation and AI functions across business teams.\nDesign and implement end-to-end Copilot Studio and Power Platform solutions, including automation and AI-enabled capabilities.\nDevelop multi-agent solutions, copilots, Canvas apps, Model-driven apps, Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, Dataverse artefacts, AI Builder solutions, Business Process Flows and Power Pages.\nCommunicate with stakeholders to capture, analyse and document business and technical requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve existing processes, helping clients gain efficiency and measurable value.\nEngage directly with client and Avanade teams to share knowledge, support adoption and upskill others in Power Platform and AI capabilities.\nContribute to solution design, technical documentation, configuration, testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation.\nWork collaboratively with architects, developers, consultants and client stakeholders in agile delivery environments.\nStay current with the latest Microsoft AI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform and wider Microsoft stack features, sharing insights across the practice.\n.\nSkills & Experience\nWe are looking for candidates with:\n.NET Technology \nExperience working with Microsoft Copilot Studio / Power Virtual Agents.\nExpertise in Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows and computer use automation scenarios.\nExpertise in Canvas app and Model-driven app development.\nExperience working with Dataverse tables and data formats such as XML and JSON.\nCompetent understanding of Microsoft 365, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams and SharePoint-related infrastructure.\nKnowledge of Azure AI Foundry and the Microsoft 365 SDK.\nUnderstanding of Model Context Protocol, Agent-to-Agent patterns and LLM selection would be advantageous.\nSoftware development experience, ideally including proficiency in one or more of Python, JavaScript, JSON, React, .NET technologies, C#, ASP.NET, REST services or PowerShell.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to work directly with clients to understand requirements, shape solutions and support successful adoption. Preferred Experience\nExperience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:\nExperience building Power Pages solutions.\nExperience delivering multi-agent or agentic AI solutions within enterprise environments.\nFamiliarity with AI orchestration, grounding, prompt design and enterprise knowledge integration patterns.\nExperience with Azure cloud services, application lifecycle management and modern deployment practices.\nKnowledge of governance, security, data management and Responsible AI considerations for Power Platform and AI solutions.\nExperience supporting capability-building, communities of practice, training or knowledge-sharing initiatives. Qualifications\nRelevant degree, qualification or equivalent practical experience in software engineering, computer science, information systems, business applications, AI, automation or a related discipline.\nMicrosoft Power Platform, Azure AI or Microsoft 365 certifications would be beneficial.
