The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, translate business and technical requirements into secure and scalable solution architectures, and provide hands-on leadership across the full solution lifecycle.\nThe role requires extensive SharePoint migration experience using ShareGate and other migration tools, as well as experience delivering projects for Singapore government agencies in Government Cloud and Whole-of-Government (WOG) cloud environments. The architect will also support Microsoft Copilot readiness and adoption discussions and guide delivery teams on governance, security, compliance, information architecture, integration, and operational readiness.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead architecture and technical delivery for SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server (on-premises), Microsoft 365, and digital workplace transformation programmes. \nEngage business, security, infrastructure, application, and operations stakeholders to assess requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, supportable, and cost-effective solution architectures. \nDefine current-state and target-state architectures, solution options, technical roadmaps, migration strategies, implementation approaches, and transition plans. \nDesign SharePoint information architecture, including site structure, hub architecture, metadata, content types, taxonomy, navigation, search, permissions, records considerations, and lifecycle management. \nArchitect SharePoint on-premises farms and hybrid solutions, covering topology, capacity, availability, identity, authentication, networking, integration, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and operational support considerations. \nLead complex migrations from legacy SharePoint versions, file shares, and other content repositories to SharePoint Online or newer SharePoint Server environments. \nDefine migration discovery, assessment, remediation, mapping, wave planning, pilot, execution, validation, reconciliation, cutover, rollback, and post-migration support activities. \nUse ShareGate extensively and guide the selection and use of other suitable migration tools based on source platform, content volume, security, metadata, compliance, reporting, and cutover requirements. \nDesign solutions using Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, with appropriate environment strategy, governance, security, data-loss-prevention controls, application lifecycle management, monitoring, and support models. \nDesign integrations with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, Office applications, line-of-business systems, APIs, and approved enterprise services. \nProvide architecture guidance for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio readiness, governance, security, information protection, adoption planning, and prioritized business use cases. \nApply Microsoft 365 and SharePoint governance, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, records management, audit, and information protection principles. \nEnsure designs align with Singapore public-sector architecture, security, compliance, hosting, network, identity, documentation, and approval requirements applicable to Government and WOG cloud environments. \nProduce and review solution architecture documents, high-level and low-level designs, migration runbooks, configuration specifications, interface designs, security designs, test strategies, operational handover documents, and architecture decision records. \nLead technical workshops, design reviews, architecture governance forums, proof of concepts, estimations, proposal development, demonstrations, and client presentations. \nProvide technical leadership to developers, migration engineers, administrators, testers, and support teams; review deliverables and resolve architecture or delivery risks. \nMentor junior team members and contribute to reusable assets, standards, accelerators, reference architectures, and capability development within the practice. \n.\nRequired Qualifications and Experience\nMinimum 10-15 years of overall IT consulting, architecture, solution delivery, and technical leadership experience. \nDemonstrated experience as a Technical Architect or Solution Architect for enterprise SharePoint and Microsoft 365 programmes. \nDeep hands-on expertise in SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (on-premises), including architecture, configuration, customization, integration, governance, security, administration, modernization, and troubleshooting. \nExtensive end-to-end migration experience using ShareGate, with working knowledge of other enterprise migration tools and approaches for SharePoint, file shares, and Microsoft 365 workloads. \nExperience planning and delivering large or complex migration programmes, including discovery, inventory analysis, dependency assessment, remediation, permissions mapping, metadata transformation, test migrations, wave execution, reconciliation, cutover, rollback, and hypercare. \nExperience delivering Singapore government-sector projects and working within Government Cloud and Whole-of-Government (WOG) cloud environments. \nStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, Office applications, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Copilot Studio. \nStrong Power Platform experience, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate, including solution architecture, integration, security, governance, environment strategy, data-loss-prevention policies, and application lifecycle management. \nStrong understanding of identity and access management, authentication, authorization, conditional access, privileged access, information protection, compliance, audit, retention, records management, and data residency considerations. \nAbility to assess non-functional requirements covering performance, availability, scalability, security, maintainability, recoverability, interoperability, monitoring, and supportability. \nExperience facilitating architecture, discovery, and design workshops with senior business and technical stakeholders. \nAbility to produce clear architecture and engineering documentation and communicate complex technical decisions to executive, business, security, and delivery audiences. \nExcellent consulting, stakeholder management, problem-solving, estimation, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills. \nTechnical Skills\nSharePoint: SharePoint Online;
