You’ll translate business requirements and user journeys into practical, risk-based testing that gives the team confidence to release.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working autonomously and partnering closely with developers, product stakeholders, business SMEs and automation specialists.\nKey activities:\nPlan, design and execute manual testing across Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform and integrated systems\nDevelop risk-based test scenarios and cases covering functional, regression, integration, exploratory, end-to-end and smoke testing\nTest model-driven applications, forms, views, business rules, workflows, security roles, plugins, APIs and integrations\nTranslate business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria into meaningful test coverage\nIdentify, document and manage defects through investigation, retesting and resolution\nUse Azure DevOps Test Plans and Boards to maintain test execution, defect and requirements traceability\nSupport business SMEs through User Acceptance Testing, including scenario preparation, test data and issue triage\nProvide clear advice on quality risks, test coverage and release readiness\nSupport release testing, post-deployment verification and urgent fixes\nWork alongside automation specialists to identify stable, high-value scenarios for future automation\nChampion a strong quality mindset and continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle\nSkills and experience required:\nYou’ll be an experienced manual Test Analyst who understands that quality is more than executing test cases. You’ll be comfortable questioning requirements, identifying risk and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver the right outcome.\nStrong hands-on experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and/or Power Platform\nExperience testing complex business processes, integrations, data flows and role-based access\nStrong manual test design skills and a practical understanding of risk-based testing\nExperience across functional, integration, regression, exploratory, end-to-end and UAT testing\nStrong defect management and investigation skills\nExperience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, Boards and work items, or comparable tools\nThe ability to test APIs and integrations, with exposure to tools such as Postman\nConfidence working autonomously within a small Agile delivery team\nStrong communication skills and the ability to explain quality risks and recommendations clearly\nA collaborative approach and genuine commitment to shared ownership of quality\nExperience in a regulated or data-sensitive environment, Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform certifications or ISTQB certification would be an advantage.\nAbout Avant \nAvant is Australia’s leading medical defence organisation, proudly supporting medical professionals for over 130 years.
