About the Role

Part-Time / Contract Lead Solution Specialist

AVANT Communications is looking to hire a contractor (15-20 hours per week through the end of 2026) to own day-to-day lead solutioning across Marketing and Sales Operations. This role will focus on qualifying and routing leads, maintaining lead quality, monitoring routing performance, and continuously improving the lead management process.

This role will report into the Marketing Department with a dotted line to Sales Operations.

They will focus on:

· Lead quality

· Data enrichment

· Routing oversight

· Operational lead management

· Process monitoring

· Lead cleanup

Requirements

Lead Quality Management

· Review incoming website and event leads

· Dedupe based on current Salesforce optimization practices

· Further Identify duplicates and routing exceptions

· Identify existing Trusted Advisors, providers, and end customers; categorize and upload into Salesforce as such

· Research companies and validate records (some manual research required, but will also provide LinkedIn navigator to assist)

· Enrich and maintain lead data based on research

Lead Routing Oversight

· Monitor automated routing for accuracy

· Investigate routing issues and recurring exceptions

· Coordinate with Sales Operations on routing improvements

· Recommend enhancements to routing logic and form fields

Process Improvement

· Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations to inform of any issues and improve workflows

· Support testing and QA for new form fields and routing changes

· Document processes and identify automation opportunities

Marketing & Sales Support

· Pass vendor inquiries to the appropriate internal team

· Assist Marketing with lead segmentation and nurture lists

· Serve as the primary point of contact for lead routing questions

Operational Impact

· Improve lead routing accuracy and reduce misassigned leads.

· Reduce manual lead research and cleanup across Marketing and BDR/Sales teams.

· Improve Salesforce data quality through ongoing enrichment, deduplication, and record maintenance.

· Create clear ownership for lead operations, routing oversight, and process improvements.

· Establish consistent monitoring and documentation of lead management processes.

Strategic Impact

· Improve alignment between Marketing, Sales Ops, and Salesforce through proactive process management.

· Create a scalable lead management foundation as lead volume and event activity continue to grow.

· Identify opportunities for additional automation and workflow improvements.

· Improve visibility into lead performance, quality trends, and areas for optimization.
