We are looking for a compassionate, organised and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our Box Hill team. This is an opportunity to build a rewarding career in healthcare administration, supporting a variety of medical specialists while making a genuine difference to patient experiences every day.\nWorking from our Box Hill office, you'll become a trusted point of contact for patients, doctors and healthcare providers, helping ensure practices run smoothly and efficiently. You'll also gain exposure to a range of specialist areas, workflows and practice management systems, including platforms such as Gentu, Clinic to Cloud and similar software, making this an excellent opportunity to broaden your healthcare administration skills.\nThis is a full-time permanent position, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with no weekend or public holiday work. You'll also enjoy the flexibility of working from home one day per week.\nKey Accountabilities\nDeliver exceptional customer service to patients, doctors and healthcare providers.\nManage a high volume of patient enquiries, handling approximately 80 calls per day with professionalism and empathy.\nBook, coordinate and manage appointments across a variety of specialist practices.\nLiaise effectively with patients, referrers, hospitals, specialists and other healthcare stakeholders.\nProcess medical administration tasks and maintain accurate patient records using cloud-based systems.\nSupport the efficient day-to-day operation of multiple medical practices.\nContribute to a positive, collaborative team culture focused on delivering outstanding service outcomes.\nKey Capabilities\nPrevious experience in customer service, administration or medical reception (medical experience is desirable but not essential).\nExceptional communication skills with a warm, professional and empathetic phone manner.\nA genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and helping others.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nConfidence using technology and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.\nExperience using medical practice management software, or the ability to quickly learn multiple platforms such as Gentu, Clinic to Cloud and similar systems.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part
