As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving the manufacturing processes, ensuring that resources are used efficiently, and contributing to the overall improvement of the production environment.\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\nAnalyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.\nApply Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and PDCAmethodologies to eliminate waste, improve workflow, and increase equipment uptime.\nPerform time studies, capacity analysis, and process evaluations to identify bottlenecks and support current and future production needs.\nMonitor, analyze, and report production and quality data using statistical methods to drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nDevelop, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process standards, ensuring all activities are audit-ready.\nSupport a Safety Alwaysand Quality Firstculture by ensuring compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and defect-prevention practices.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and suppliers to troubleshoot issues and implement sustainable solutions.\nDesign and improve manufacturing layouts, workflows, assembly methods, tools, and equipment to optimize resource utilization.\nSupport planned maintenance improvements and apply fault analysis tools to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.\nPrepare routine engineering plans, calculations, cost estimates, and technical documentation in accordance with standard engineering practices.\nAssist with proposal development, consultation forms, contract documentation, and other engineering support activities as required.\nManage component identification, serial number designation, inventory tracking, and purchasing documentation using SAP.\nTrain and guide operators and technicians on efficient work practices, process standards, and safety protocols.\nBuild strong working relationships with operators, technicians, peers, suppliers, and third-party partners to support operational goals.\nMaintain awareness of industry best practices, new technologies, and manufacturing trends through professional development and trade resources.\nSupport a flexible work schedule in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, taking ownership of assigned processes and responsibilities.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience in an industrial engineering or process improvement role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nFamiliarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.\nStrong knowledge of production systems, time and motion studies, and capacity planning.\nExperience with process simulation software and data analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar).\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement practical solutions.\nAbility to work in a team environment and communicate effectively across departments.\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nFamiliarity with safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.\nSkills:\nAbility to identify inefficiencies, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solutions to improve processes.\nStrong ability to analyze data and draw insights for performance improvements.\nCapable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with different teams and present findings to stakeholders.\nAbility to work effectively with diverse teams to achieve process improvements and meet production goals.\nKnowledge of engineering software tools such as CAD, simulation tools, and production management software.\nAbility to monitor production processes and ensure they meet quality standards and efficiency targets.\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant, production areas, and occasionally ascend/descend stairs\nMust be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery\nMust be able to occasionally move production equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds\nBenefits:\n401(k), 401(k) matching\nDental insurance, health insurance, vision insurance, life insurance\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nAvanti Corp is an equal opportunity employer.
