Hometown Tire Pros and Service is seeking a skilled Main Line Technician with a focus on quality and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a high-volume environment. About the Role:
As an Automotive Technician at Hometown Tire Pros and Service, you'll work on a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, from basic services to more complex diagnostics-while helping maintain our reputation for quality and integrity. You'll use the latest diagnostic tools, perform inspections, and work side-by-side with a collaborative team of advisors and technicians.
You'll be expected to:
- Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance with accuracy and efficiency
- Use inspection forms and repair orders to document work and recommendations
- Road test vehicles to verify concerns and confirm repairs
- Communicate clearly with service advisors about repair needs and updates
- Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and repair techniques
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience as an automotive main line technician
- Mindset: Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Team Player: Communicates clearly and works well with advisors and fellow techs
- Problem-Solver: Diagnoses issues accurately and efficiently
- Lifelong Learner: Open to continuous training and certification opportunities
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid license and clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (for illegal substances)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
