it’s about creating the systems, tooling, and abstractions that enable engineers and AI workflows to move fast, safely, and reliably.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and implement core backend systems and integrations that power the product.\n\nDesign and build our data platform (orchestration, pipelines, developer workflows)\n\nCreate scalable systems for data ingestion, transformation, and access\n\nDesign data models and APIs that won’t collapse under growth.\n\nMake sane decisions about schemas, indexes, migrations, and performance.\n\nOwn infrastructure for data + AI workloads (containers, orchestration, cloud services)\n\nEnable self-serve data workflows for engineering and product teams\n\nImprove observability, reliability, and performance across the data stack\n\nSupport AI/ML systems (embeddings, vector data, model pipelines)\n\nBuild tooling for document processing, metadata, and normalization\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n7+ years in data engineering, platform engineering, or backend infrastructure\n\nA track record of shipping and owning production systems.\n\nStrong systems thinking (not just pipelines -
