We deliver a customized end-to-end experience that is tailored just for groups and powered with technology at every layer.\nWhat we are looking For\nAvantStay is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor. As the go-to person for maintenance on our team, you'll help troubleshoot basic to intermediate issues at our properties - both short-term rental residential & boutique hotels, fix inadequate parts of units to make them functional, and conduct general home improvement tasks.\nThe Maintenance Supervisor will perform scheduled maintenance as directed as well as diagnose problems and repairs on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry wall, appliances etc. This position will schedule, monitor, and perform maintenance, and respond to work order requests from the team.\nThe Maintenance Supervisor will inspect properties and the grounds for safety and cleanliness, and occasionally recommend and work with outside contractors as needed.\nWhat you’ll do\nPartner with Area Manager to resolve maintenance issues in our properties\n\nPerform maintenance to our properties such as repairing furniture, unclogging drains, painting, and replacing broken items\n\nPrioritize and proactively resolve maintenance issues prior to guest arrival and during guest stays, if necessary\n\n80% of the time you will be performing hands-on maintenance\n\n20% of the time you will support the local managers with assigning work to 3rd party vendors as appropriate\n\nAssist in obtaining quotes of maintenance work assigned to 3rd party vendors\n\nThoroughly document all maintenance and billing details in our task management system\n\nMaintain organization and upkeep of supplies in storage such as tools, furniture, and heating & cooling items\n\nAssist in the onboarding of new properties, performing general maintenance/touchups, and installing basic security components (doorbells, cameras, etc.)\n\nMove heavy objects and be on your feet for prolonged periods of time\n\nRequirements\n3-5 years of experience in property management, hotel, or apartment complex maintenance\n\nDeep understanding of all property upkeep tasks and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pool, HVAC and landscaping work\n\nTech savviness to troubleshoot technology issues and comfort navigating apps to document work\n\nAbility to lift heavy objects\n\nAbility to be self-sufficient and independently complete jobs\n\nMust provide your own tools\n\nMust have the ability and availability to work weekends, holidays, and with an overall flexible work schedule to fit current business needs\n\nBenefits\nAnnual salary range of $73-75k (dependent on your skills and experience)\n\nGenerous company-sponsored insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, etc.)\n\nFlexible paid time off\n\nComplimentary and discounted stays at AvantStay properties\n\nPre-tax retirement savings plans offered via Betterment\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nFitness reimbursement\n\nCell phone reimbursement\n\nMileage reimbursement\n\nWhen you join AvantStay\nYou’ll be doing work that matters alongside an experienced and dynamic team, transforming the way people travel and vacation.
