Do you have experience or qualifications in Reliability engineering?\nAs an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to investing in our people across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering Team, based at our Brackley site.\nThere is an opportunity for the role to be undertaken by engineering graduates as well as experienced professionals.\nAs a Reliability Engineer, you’ll be workingMonday to Friday 08:00-17:00\nWhat will you be doing as a Reliability Engineer at Avara?\nAs a Reliability Engineer you’ll have Engineering responsibility for an area within the operational environment as the Reliability Engineer. Monitoring equipment downtime, analysing trends to drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives and projects\nWhat will your key responsibilities as a Reliability Engineer include?\nReliability/Asset Care Manager, responsible for all equipment in an area\nMaintain a high level of reliability and availability of factory equipment through an effective planned maintenance regime\nResponsible for the gathering and analysis of equipment efficiency and downtime in order to drive continuous improvement initiatives\nRaising of Planned Maintenance or reactive maintenance jobs for respective area\nReview of all completed job sheets in respective area\nProduction of downtime data for weekly meetings\nLead and support installation and capital projects\nCommunicate and collaborate with other colleagues, suppliers and contractors\nUnderstanding of engineering and operational KPI’s and be able to identify areas for improvement\nInteract with on-shift engineers and other site engineering teams to resolve challenging equipment problems\nSupport the Site Principal Engineer and engineering peers to develop robust weekly and monthly maintenance plans that improve asset availability and equipment performance\nCoordinate OEM engineer service visits with production and planning teams and scheduling further work that arises from those inspections\nOversee equipment calibrations and complete and review PUWER assessments to maintain equipment compliance\nWhat you’ll need to be successful:\nEssential\nEngineering Qualification above L3 (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, HND/HNC or L3 engineering qualification may be considered dependent on experience)\nExperience gained from an Engineering Maintenance environment\nSelf-motivated attitude with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a timeline-driven environment\nGood interpersonal communication skills\nAbility to work individually or as part of a team\nAbility to problem solve\nStrong Analytical skills\nGood IT ability\nDesirable\nKnowledge of CMMS system (Mainsaver/Spidex)\nCAD experience\nExperience in managing projects\nOn site contractor management\nThe benefits of working for Avara Foods:\nAs a Reliability Engineer you will enjoy a secure, supportive and progressive working environment, where your contribution and achievements will be recognised and rewarded.\nWe offer comprehensive training as well as continuous development as you build your long-term career with us.
