We have major processing sites across England and Wales, and an agricultural network of over 350 farms, spanning from North Yorkshire to the South Coast and Wales.\nPurpose of the role\nAs a Supply Chain Apprentice, you will work within our Supply Chain Function as a member of the Order Management Team.\nYou will be dealing with many stakeholders: customers, logistic teams and different parts of Avara including factory planning, customer planning and despatch.\nThe customer support role will be the initial 6 to 12 month placement before moving on to other areas within Supply Chain.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nEDI Order Management in our ERP System Oracle for our retail customers. \nOrder Amendments where required for all customers in Oracle.\nOrder Release for all customers in Oracle and sending order information to despatch teams.\nEnter and process all Food Service orders including any direct store delivery requests. \nEnter and process commercial sales orders.\nUpdate and manage product life concessions in the system. \nGeneral enquiries from internal teams and customers. \nGeneral Admin Tasks. \nWhat you’ll need to be successful:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nBasic understand of Excel desirable.\nFlexible, resilient approach with good problem solving skills.\nAbility to effectively time manage and prioritise tasks.\nAttention to detail and accuracy.\nEnthusiastic and keen to learn. \nThe benefits of working for Avara Foods:\nAs a Supply Chain Apprentice you will enjoy a secure, supportive and progressive working environment, where your contribution and achievements will be recognized and rewarded.\nWe offer comprehensive training as well as continuous development as you build your long-term career with us.
