Do you have experience or qualifications in Reliability engineering?\nAs an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to investing in our people across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering Team, based at our Hereford site.\nWorking hours\nMonday to Friday 08:00-16:30\nPurpose of the role\nWorking as a member of the Engineering Team, you will have Engineering responsibility for an area within the operational environment as the asset manager. Monitoring equipment downtime, analysing trends to drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives and projects.\nWhat will your key responsibilities as a Reliability Engineer include?\nResponsible for all equipment in an area\nMaintain a high level of reliability of factory equipment through an effective planned maintenance regime\nResponsible for the gathering and analysis of equipment efficiency and downtime to drive continuous improvement initiatives\nRaise planned maintenance or reactive maintenance jobs for respective area\nReview of all completed job sheets in respective area\nProduction of downtime data for weekly meetings\nLead and support installation and capital projects\nCommunicate and collaborate with other colleagues, suppliers and contractors\nUnderstand engineering and operational KPIs and be able to identify areas for improvement\nInteract with on-shift engineers and other site engineering teams to resolve challenging equipment problems\nSupport the Site Reliability Engineer and engineering peers to develop robust weekly and monthly maintenance plans that improve asset availability and equipment performance\nCo-ordinate original equipment manufacturer engineer service visits with production and planning teams and scheduling further work that arises from those inspections\nEssential\nEngineering qualification Level 3 or above\nExperience gained in an Engineering maintenance environment\nSelf-motivated attitude with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a timeline driven environment\nGood interpersonal communication skills\nAbility to work individually or as part of a team\nAbility to problem solve\nStrong analytical skills\nGood IT ability\nDesirable\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, HND / HNC or L3 Engineering qualification may be considered depending on experience\nKnowledge of CMMS system (Mainsaver / Spidex)\nCAD experience\nExperience of managing projects\nExperience of onsite contractor management\nThe benefits of working for Avara Foods:\nAs a Reliability Engineer you will enjoy a secure, supportive and progressive working environment, where your contribution and achievements will be recognised and rewarded.\nWe offer comprehensive training as well as continuous development as you build your long-term career with us.
