You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end automation frameworks, PoCs across the stack from UI, microservices, Performance and E2E workflows.\nThis is a critical role that demands strong problem-solving skills, full lifecycle development experience, and a deep understanding of both backend and frontend technologies.\n\nAbout The Requirements\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop scalable, high-performance test automation framework and test automation scripts.\n\nWell versed with programming and scripting languages with strong debugging skills, either of C, Java, TypeScript, Python\n\nContribute to all phases of the STLC, from planning and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and support.\n\nWork closely with Product Managers, UI/UX designers, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.\n\nImplement and maintain end-to-end testing using Playwright and other automation frameworks, with BDD Gherkin.\n\nWell versed with AI driven automation framework and concepts such as auto healing.\n\nEnsure code quality, maintainability, and security through code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD best practices.\n\nWell versed with performance engineering concepts, performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6.\n\nConduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote software development best practices.\n\nMust-Have Qualifications:\n7+ years of hands-on software development experience in full-stack roles.\n\nExperience with Playwright or equivalent test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium).\n\nExperience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.\n\nHands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).\n\nProven experience working on SaaS-based applications with high availability and scalability.\n\nExperience integrating with third-party APIs and real-time communication tools (e.g., WebRTC etc..).\n\nNice-to-Have Qualifications:\nBackground in contact center software, customer engagement platforms, or VoIP systems.\n\nExperience with performance tuning, observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).\n\nContributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the developer community.\n\nPreferred Background:\nPrior experience at a SaaS or contact center technology company, especially those building customer service, call center, or communication platforms.\n\nPromotes Agile values and principles\n\nPlanning and problem solving with product management and delivery Squads\n\nOutstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills\n\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\nExperience\n6 - 8 Years of ExperienceEducation\nBachelor degree or equivalent experienceMaster degree or equivalent experiencePreferred Certifications\nFooter\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nAvaya is an Equal Opportunity employer and a U.S. Federal Contractor.
