Provides outreach, information, education, and training to individuals, schools, community groups, private organizations, social service agencies and their customers. Collaborates with community partners. Ensures that all areas of the program’s service area are covered equitably. Provides direct service as needed and ensures adherence to all aspects and conditions of the grant.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPlans, organizes, and supervises programmatic operation of the grant; reviews project proposals and develops work plan to meet grant requirements\nCollaborates, convenes, partners, and liaises with staff, schools, community sites and others in order to meet program requirements\nCommunicates with district-level and statewide staff and subcontracted partners\nDelivers programming to people in the service area as funding dictates; uses educational strategies and implementation methods to reach targeted populations\nCross-trains and coaches fellow staff as requested\nAssists in solving problems and working toward the best solution for the team.\nSeeks out alternate funding sources as necessary and assists with writing grants/proposals to support and or enhance program initiatives\nDevelops and/or uses survey tools to acquire relevant data that support the programs goals and outcomes; collects and analyzes project data and generates reports; conducts needs assessments and compiles reports; prepares activity reports and other reports as required by the funding source; ensures that grant deliverables and expectations, including evaluation and data collection requirements, are met\nMaintains a resource library for use by professionals and the general public; reviews materials as needed; maintains and distributes listing of books, pamphlets, audio-visual materials for loan to groups and/or individuals; keeps current catalogs and orders materials as needed. \nNON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerforms additional duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nExperience and Skill Requirements: The following experience and skill requirements are considered essential:\nExperience:\n1-2 years of experience in work related to the grant, required. \nDelivering of education programs and individual counseling\nInterpreting funding source regulations and grant application requirements\nMeasuring program performance and outcomes\nPurchasing materials and supplies\nUtilizing group process with customers\nWorking with specialized equipment when necessary\nSkills:\nBasic organization skills\nGood listening skills\nExcellent verbal communication skills\nExcellent written communication skills\nExcellent public speaking skills\nExcellent research and dissemination skills\nDisplays tact, discretion, and sound judgment\nHandles frequent disruptions\nPrioritizes and coordinates work activities\nMeets frequent, critical deadlines\nWorks independently\nAdapts to change\nUses Microsoft Office applications and other computer software as applicable to the position\nEducation and Knowledge Requirements: The following education and knowledge are considered essential:\nBachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Behavioral Services, Nursing, Education, or related field is preferred or combination of relevant skills and experience\nKnowledge of grant writing and/or reporting is preferred\nAny other credentials as required by funding source\nOther Requirements:\nAbility to work a flexible schedule\nMust pass required background checks\nMust have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and provide proof of insurance\nGENERAL EXPECTATIONS:\nMaintains and promotes the highest level of understanding of the Agency's Mission, Vision and Goals.\nMaintains confidentiality; protect the Agency by keeping information concerning employees, those we serve, and the Agency itself confidential.\nFollows all safety policies and procedures with a \"safety first\" approach to all job duties.\nExhibits a positive, professional, and collaborative attitude with others inside and outside the Agency.\nExhibits teamwork through effective internal communication and working relationships.\nIs punctual for scheduled work and use time appropriately.\nPerforms required amount of work in a timely fashion with a minimum of errors.\nParticipates in trainings, conferences, and meetings as necessary.\nPossesses and exhibits the highest standards of professionalism and personal integrity.\nRepresents the Agency in the community as appropriate to the role.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the Incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
