You will support delivery teams in adopting AI-native ways of working, establish standards and evaluation frameworks for AI-generated outputs, and help identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity through AI technologies.\nYou will collaborate closely with engineering leaders, delivery teams, and clients, contributing to both technical strategy and practical implementation of AI-enabled engineering workflows.\n\nThis is you\n10+ years of experience in software development\n\n3+ years of experience in a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or similar technical leadership role\n\nComfortable working directly with clients, facilitating workshops, challenging requirements, and communicating technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders\n\nExperience with LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic)\n\nExperience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, PydanticAI, or similar\n\nExperience working with Model Context Protocol (MCP)\n\nPractical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar\n\nAbility to define and implement team workflows around AI-assisted development\n\nStrong understanding of software architecture, system design, and engineering trade-offs\n\nUnderstanding of AI security risks, including prompt injection, adversarial inputs, and data leakage in agentic workflows\n\nFamiliarity with engineering productivity metrics such as DORA, Flow Metrics, AI-assisted PR merge rates, and agent output acceptance rates\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-evolving environment\n\nNice-to-have skills:\nExperience driving AI adoption across multiple engineering teams\n\nExperience establishing engineering standards and governance frameworks around AI-enabled development\n\nThis is your role\nDefine technical direction for delivery teams and promote the creation of reusable engineering assets\n\nDrive the adoption of AI-assisted development practices, including code generation, code review, and test automation\n\nIdentify, evaluate, and pilot new AI use cases across the software delivery lifecycle\n\nDesign and develop autonomous agents supporting SDLC activities and integrate them with platforms such as Jira, GitHub, and CI/CD systems through MCP\n\nMeasure and report the impact of AI adoption on developer productivity\n\nDefine quality gates, governance models, and evaluation frameworks for AI-generated code and agent outputs\n\nContribute to internal AI initiatives, technology communities, seminars, and knowledge-sharing activities\n\nEvaluate and optimize AI tooling costs through model selection, caching strategies, and token budgeting\n\nPartner with Engineering Managers and technical leaders to upskill teams in AI-native engineering practices\n\nSupport continuous improvement of engineering processes through responsible and effective use of AI technologies\n\nWhat awaits you at Avenga?\nThrough our values - Better Minds, Bolder Ideas, and Bigger Hearts - we strive to create a work environment where people feel supported, trusted, and empowered to grow.\nYou’ll have the opportunity to influence how AI transforms software engineering practices, work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with experienced engineering leaders, and help shape the future of AI-native delivery across global teams.\nAt Avenga, everyone matters.
