Your primary responsibility will involve designing, maintaining, and executing automated and manual test scenarios to ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of business-critical applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full testing lifecycle, from test automation development to defect analysis and validation of functional requirements.\nIn this role, you'll become a vital member of a collaborative QA team working closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality banking solutions. The team focuses on improving test coverage, enhancing automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless releases through comprehensive functional and regression testing activities.\nCore skills you’ll bring\n3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.\n\nHands-on experience with Python for test automation development.\n\nStrong knowledge of pytest and automated testing frameworks.\n\nExperience creating and maintaining automated UI tests using Playwright.\n\nProficiency with Git and version control best practices.\n\nExperience implementing and maintaining Page Object Model (POM) frameworks and fixtures.\n\nStrong experience executing regression tests and validating application functionality.\n\nExperience performing defect analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.\n\nUnderstanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and QA best practices.\n\nNice-to-have\nExperience with functional and manual testing in banking environments.\n\nKnowledge of banking processes and financial services workflows.\n\nPrevious experience working with Bantotal solutions.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.\n\nExperience working in Agile development environments.\n\nThe impact you'll create\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and banking platforms.\n\nExecute functional, manual, and regression testing activities to validate product quality.\n\nAnalyze, document, and track defects while working closely with development teams on issue resolution.\n\nImprove and maintain automation frameworks using Python, pytest, and Playwright.\n\nDevelop reusable test components utilizing Page Object Model and fixture-based approaches.\n\nValidate new features, system enhancements, and production fixes.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance processes and testing standards.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality software deliveries.\n\n What supports your journey\nOpportunity to work on long-term projects within the banking and financial services domain.\n\nExposure to modern test automation tools and best practices.\n\nCollaborative environment with experienced QA and engineering professionals.\n\nProfessional growth through participation in end-to-end quality engineering initiatives.\n\nInternational team environment across LATAM.\n\nContinuous learning opportunities in automation testing and banking technologies.\n\nPeople are at the core of Avenga.
