The role also involves the active use of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality.\nCandidates must be based in Buenos Aires City (CABA) or the Greater Buenos Aires Area (AMBA) and be available to work in a hybrid model.\nCore skills you’ll bring\n5+ years of professional software development experience.\n\nStrong experience in native iOS development.\n\nHands-on experience with Swift and Objective-C.\n\nSolid understanding of mobile application architecture and development best practices.\n\nExperience working throughout the complete software development lifecycle.\n\nAbility to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a cross-functional environment.\n\nStrong collaboration and communication skills.\n\nInterest in technological innovation and continuous improvement.\n\nExperience with AI-assisted development tools or willingness to actively incorporate them into the development workflow.\n\nThe impact you'll create\nDesign, develop, maintain, and integrate native iOS applications and software components.\n\nUse AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code, or similar solutions.\n\nUnderstand business needs and translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.\n\nParticipate in the full application lifecycle: concept, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.\n\nBuild and adapt modules and reusable software components, integrating them with existing solutions.\n\nDevelop prototypes during the technical scoping phase.\n\nWrite unit tests, review code, resolve defects, and continuously improve software quality.\n\nMaintain production applications and deliver new features.\n\nOptimize application performance, usability, and overall user experience.\n\nCreate intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.\n\nPrepare and maintain technical, functional, and architecture documentation.\n\nCollaborate closely with developers, Product Managers, and other cross-functional teams.\n\nResearch new technologies and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.\n\nIdentify opportunities for technical and process improvements.\n\nPeople are at the core of Avenga.
