With 6,000+ experts worldwide, we combine engineering expertise with AI-native thinking to turn ambitious ideas into real-world impact across industries, technologies, and markets.\nAt the core of the role\nWe are looking for a Middle Project Manager to join a team delivering innovative HR technology solutions for a global leader in Human Capital Integrity services, specializing in background screening and medical screening solutions.\nIn this role, you will drive the successful delivery of medium to large-scale software development projects within an Agile environment, ensuring predictable execution, effective stakeholder collaboration, and continuous process improvement.\nCore skills you’ll bring\n3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successfully delivering medium-to-large-scale IT projects.\n\nStrong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and industry-standard project management practices.\n\nSolid understanding of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk, and stakeholder management.\n\nExperience with project planning, tracking, reporting, performance measurement, and project financial management, including P&L fundamentals.\n\nDemonstrated ability to identify, assess, mitigate, escalate, and resolve project risks and critical issues.\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environments.\n\nUpper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency, both written and spoken.\n\nNice-to-have\nExperience in HR Technology, background screening, compliance, healthcare, or similar regulated industries.\n\nExperience working with international clients and distributed teams.\n\nKnowledge of forecasting, capacity planning, release planning, and delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, throughput, cycle time, WIP, lead time).\n\nUnderstanding of business development, commercial discussions, and client account growth opportunities.\n\nBachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\n\nScrum Master, Agile, PMP, or similar project management certifications.\n\nThe impact you'll create\nLead and coordinate software development projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, budget, quality, and delivery goals.\n\nFacilitate Agile delivery processes and ceremonies, ensuring effective ways of working and clear sprint objectives, priorities, dependencies, and expectations.\n\nMonitor project and sprint progress, proactively managing risks, blockers, impediments, and critical issues to maintain a predictable delivery pace.\n\nTrack delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement of team processes, delivery flow, and project outcomes.\n\nSupport forecasting, resource planning, and release planning based on team capacity and delivery performance.\n\nCollaborate with Product Management, Engineering, QA, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and communication.\n\nBuild strong client relationships, provide transparent project reporting, and identify opportunities to support account growth.\n\nPeople are at the core of Avenga.
