You will support Agile teams in delivering value effectively by facilitating Scrum processes, removing impediments and fostering a culture of transparency, accountability and shared ownership.\nYou will work closely with development teams, Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, improve delivery processes and help teams continuously develop their ways of working.\nCore skills you’ll bring\nAt least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.\n\nStrong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, particularly Scrum.\n\nExperience working with Agile teams on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.\n\nGood understanding of software development processes and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).\n\nExperience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.\n\nStrong facilitation, coaching and team-building skills.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflicts and encourage collaboration.\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.\n\nAbility to connect technical and business perspectives and align teams around shared goals.\n\nEnglish - upper-intermediate or higher, both written and spoken.\n\nNice-to-have\nScrum-related certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) or SAFe Scrum Master.\n\nA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.\n\nThe impact you'll create\nFacilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.\n\nHelp the team define clear sprint goals and align them with product priorities and business objectives.\n\nCoach team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices and their roles and responsibilities.\n\nIdentify and remove impediments that affect team progress, collaborating with stakeholders and management when needed.\n\nCreate an environment where team members feel empowered to raise concerns, share ideas and contribute to solutions.\n\nWork closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring requirements are clear and aligned with business goals.\n\nMonitor team metrics, such as velocity, cycle time and burndown charts, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.\n\nPromote transparency by facilitating communication between development teams, Product Owners and external stakeholders.\n\nAdapt Agile practices to the team's context while maintaining alignment with Scrum principles and organisational needs.\n\nIdentify delivery risks and support the team in addressing challenges that may affect project outcomes.\n\nFacilitate continuous improvement by helping the team identify actionable changes during retrospectives and follow through on their implementation.\n\nEncourage a culture of learning, collaboration and accountability to improve team effectiveness and delivery.\n\n What supports your journey\nPeople are at the core of Avenga.
