The ideal candidate is an experienced QA professional with a strong automation background who is also comfortable contributing to manual testing activities when needed.\nYou will play a key role in ensuring software quality across banking platforms and services, driving the evolution of test automation practices, improving test coverage, and supporting the team with technical expertise and mentorship.\nOur client is one of Argentina's most important financial institutions. The bank plays a vital role in supporting regional economic development and providing banking services across underserved communities\nCore skills you’ll bring\n5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a primary focus on test automation.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with: Python, Pytest, Playwright, Git.\n\nExperience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.\n\nSolid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect management.\n\nAbility to analyze test scenarios, failures, root causes, and test coverage gaps.\n\nExperience performing functional/manual testing when required.\n\nUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle and QA best practices.\n\nKnowledge of banking processes and financial systems.\n\nExperience working with Bantotal or similar banking platforms.\n\nNative-level Spanish and Intermediate English.\n\nNice-to-have\nExperience improving and scaling automation frameworks.\n\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.\n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\n\nFamiliarity with API testing and test automation tools.\n\nExperience mentoring QA team members and promoting quality best practices.\n\nExposure to performance or non-functional testing.\n\nThe impact you'll create\nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases and frameworks.\n\nPerform functional and manual testing activities when required.\n\nAnalyze test results, investigate failures, and identify root causes.\n\nAssess and improve test coverage to ensure comprehensive quality validation.\n\nCollaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.\n\nContribute to the evolution of the automation strategy, frameworks, and testing standards.\n\nDefine and promote QA best practices across the team.\n\nSupport and guide team members through technical knowledge sharing and collaboration.\n\nParticipate in test planning, estimation, and quality-related discussions throughout the development lifecycle.\n\nEnsure the delivery of reliable, high-quality solutions within the banking domain.\n\nPeople are at the core of Avenga.
