Operating with an inward-facing, team-centric focus, the BA translates high-level affiliate and global requirements and mobile messaging strategies into structured, development-ready user stories and technical specifications.\nA primary focus of this role is accelerating the rollout of our new Mobile Messaging tech stack, ensuring it seamlessly replaces, standardizes, and enhances the legacy capabilities currently housed in Epicx to meet global affiliate needs.\nAs a co-owner of the product scope, they will act as a critical partner to the global Product Owner and Product Manager, and bring the technical muscle required to shape the team's backlog. They will own detail-level backlog refinement, system logic mapping, and day-to-day developer support, while frequently stepping up as a Proxy Product Owner to drive tactical execution when the PO is focused on upward stakeholder strategy and global compliance.\nCore Roles & Responsibilities:\n1. Requirements Engineering & Backlog Management\nTechnical Story Deconstruction: Pull high-level feature goals and architectural runway items down into granular, highly technical user stories and actionable development requirements.\nBacklog Co-Grooming & Refinement: Jointly own and manage the team backlog alongside the PO. Proactively flesh out the backlog prior to formal refinement sessions by drafting robust acceptance criteria, user scenarios, and data mappings.\nSubject Matter PO Delivery: Step up to autonomously act as the Product Owner/Proxy PO for specific technical domains or defined subject matter components to keep the development team moving efficiently.\n2. Technical Analysis & Architecture Collaboration\nSystem & Data Mapping: Map system workflows, data models, and API logic to ensure seamless integration across the technical stack.\nArchitect & Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with the System Architect and external vendors to conduct technical assessments and lead technical discussions. Contribute to the solution definition together with the architects and test and validate the developed solutions by the vendors\nCross-Team Connectivity: Act as the technical connector across different systems, components, and engineering teams to resolve dependencies.\n3. Agile Ceremonies & Daily Dev Support\nDaily Tactical Support: Serve as the immediate technical resource for the development team, answering complex functional, logical, and technical questions to maintain sprint velocity.\nSprint Execution: Support the Scrum Master/RTE and PO during sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective sessions.\nQuality Assurance & UAT: Write clear acceptance criteria and testing scenarios; drive and sign off on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered software meets technical specifications.\n4.
