Operating globally, our 6000+ specialists provide a full spectrum of services, including business and tech advisory, enterprise solutions, CX, UX and Ul design, managed services, product development, and software development.\nThis is the job\nWe are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a project for a leading Telco client, focused on migrating an existing data platform from Teradata to Google BigQuery.\nYou will be responsible for migrating existing data solutions, ETL processes, and transformations, as well as validating, testing, and integrating them into production.\n\nThis is you\nSolid experience as a Data Engineer.\n\nStrongSQL skills and experience working with large data volumes.\n\nKnowledge ofdata warehouses, ETL processes, and data transformations.\n\nHands-on experience withGit/version control.\n\nGood understanding of IT environments and development tools.\n\nAbility to work independently and solve technical problems.\n\nNice-to-have skills:\nGoogle BigQuery / GCP\n\nApache Airflow / Cloud Composer\n\nPython\n\nDocker\n\nYAML\n\nExperience with data warehouse/platform migrations.\n\nExperience with ETL/ELT and data integration.\n\nTeradata migration experience.\n\nThis is your role\nMigrate data solutions, ETL processes, and transformations from Teradata to BigQuery.\n\nAnalyze and adapt existing SQL and data transformations.\n\nValidate data quality and migrated results.\n\nPerform testing and troubleshoot technical issues.\n\nSupport the integration of migrated solutions into production.\n\nWork according to established methodologies and collaborate with a small expert team.\nAt Avenga, everyone matters.
