You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from technical discovery and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.\nYou will build modern cloud-native solutions, collaborate with product and technology stakeholders, and influence architectural decisions in an agile, innovation-driven environment.\nAs part of the team, you will join a multidisciplinary squad composed of Software Engineers, Technical Leads, Product Owners, and UX specialists.\nThis role is open to candidates in Argentina, preferably Buenos Aires, for occasional in-person collaboration.\nCore skills you’ll bring\n5+ years of commercial experience with React.js and modern frontend practices.\n\nHands-on Node.js (v18+) experience, preferably with Express.js and/or NestJS.\n\nSolid understanding of microservices and/or event-driven architectures.\n\nExperience building and consuming RESTful APIs.\n\nKnowledge of NoSQL databases.\n\nPractical experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.\n\nFamiliarity with Serverless Framework or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.\n\nStrong knowledge of GitLab, including branching strategies, feature development workflows, and hotfix processes.\n\nExperience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog and Opsgenie.\n\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nNative or fluent Spanish and Intermediate English proficiency.\n\nNice-to-have\nExperience with AWS cloud services, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB.\n\nFamiliarity with TypeScript.\n\nExperience with Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle.\n\nAbility to mentor teammates and share technical knowledge across teams.\n\nThe impact you'll create\nDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a primary focus on creating exceptional frontend experiences using React.js.\n\nBuild and enhance Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS.\n\nCreate intuitive, engaging, and user-centric interfaces with a strong emphasis on usability and performance.\n\nDevelop, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.\n\nWrite unit tests and ensure software quality through code reviews and best engineering practices.\n\nMaintain, troubleshoot, and enhance production applications while implementing new features and improvements.\n\nCollaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\n\nBuild prototypes and proofs of concept during discovery and project scoping phases.\n\nShare knowledge, lessons learned, and technical discoveries to strengthen team capabilities and technology practices.\n\nAlign technical initiatives with team objectives, OKRs, and broader business goals.\n\nPeople are at the core of Avenga.
