You will work across Linux systems, server hardware, high-speed networking and enterprise storage, ensuring the reliability and performance of large-scale HPC clusters and AI infrastructure. The role combines hands-on datacenter operations with advanced troubleshooting, scripting and automation to maintain and optimize complex infrastructure environments.\nCore skills you’ll bring\n4+ years of experience in Linux system administration, command-line operations, log analysis and troubleshooting.\n\n4+ years of experience in datacenter hardware operations, diagnostics, component replacement and rack installation.\n\nExperience managing server hardware through Redfish APIs and IPMI.\n\n2+ years of experience with high-speed networking technologies, including Ethernet, HPE Slingshot and InfiniBand.\n\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging and root cause analysis skills.\n\nProficiency in Bash and Python scripting and automation.\n\nExperience with HPC clusters and large-scale AI infrastructure.\n\nKnowledge of enterprise storage systems, including SAN/NAS, parallel file systems and object storage.\n\nExperience with Git version control and repository management.\n\nFamiliarity with incident and change management processes, technical documentation and infrastructure schematics.\n\nThe impact you'll create\nAdminister, maintain and troubleshoot Linux systems across HPC and hybrid cloud environments.\n\nMonitor server health, performance, firmware and hardware components using Redfish APIs and IPMI.\n\nDiagnose and resolve complex hardware issues involving power, thermal management, storage and networking.\n\nPerform hands-on datacenter operations, including hardware component replacements, rack installations, decommissioning and cabling.\n\nConfigure, monitor and troubleshoot high-speed networking technologies and HPC network fabrics.\n\nInvestigate complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to improve system reliability.\n\nSupport the operation, maintenance and optimization of HPC clusters and large-scale AI infrastructure.\n\nDeploy, configure, monitor and troubleshoot enterprise storage systems, including SAN/NAS, parallel file systems and object storage.\n\nDevelop and maintain Bash and Python scripts to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency.\n\nUse Git to manage scripts, configuration files and technical documentation.\n\nFollow established incident and change management procedures, maintaining accurate technical records and infrastructure documentation.\n\n What supports your journey\nPeople are at the core of Avenga.
