Experienced in designing scalable distributed systems and collaborating within a 7-person engineering team. Additionally exposed to React development.\nCore skills you’ll bring\n5+ years of backend development experience\n\nStrong C#/.NET (Java may be considered)\n\nExperience building and designing APIs\n\nDistributed messaging systems and event-driven architectures\n\nFIX Protocol experience in a capital markets / electronic trading environment\n\nExperience with financial calculations, pricing engines, or quantitative models\n\nHands-on experience with QuantLib (or similar quantitative finance libraries)\n\nOAuth2, OpenID Connect, IdentityServer or similar authentication frameworks\n\nMongoDB or other NoSQL databases\n\nExperience in capital markets, fintech, trading platforms, fixed income, securities pricing\n\nNice-to-have\nDatadog, Sentry, Elasticsearch\n\nSignalR / WebSockets\n\nPulsar, Databricks, Lakehouse\n\nReact + Redux (nice to have)\n\nExperience mentoring engineers / technical leadership\n\nThe impact you'll create\nDesign and develop high-quality backend services using C#/.NET\nBuild and maintain ASP .NET service-side applications with a focus on scalability and long-term\nreliability.\nWork with distributed messaging frameworks and event-driven architectures to support high-throughput\ntrading systems.\nDevelop and optimize data solutions using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.\nDesign and implement financial calculation engines, pricing models, and quantitative algorithms with a\nstrong emphasis on accuracy and performance.\nImplement and maintain FIX protocol integrations to support electronic trading workflows.\nDesign and enforce identity, authentication, and authorization solutions across backend services.\nIntegrate and work with observability platforms such as Datadog or Elasticsearch to support system\nmonitoring and diagnostics.\nEnsure numerical precision in financial computations, including proper handling of rounding, accruals,\nand market conventions.\nCollaborate with product, UI/UX, frontend, and DevOps teams to align on development and deployment\nstrategy.\nBuild reusable, testable backend infrastructure and uphold consistent coding standards across teams.\nImplement telemetry and monitoring best practices using Sentry or equivalent tools.\nEvaluate and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and design patterns to continuously improve\nengineering outcomes.\nMentor engineers on backend development best practices and foster a culture of engineering\nexcellence.\nContribute to frontend solutions using React and Redux/Rematch where needed.
