The focus is on creating reusable tools and procedures for long-term integration and regression testing, not just a one-time migration solution. The role involves technical integration testing, test automation, and close collaboration with developers, architects, and testers to analyze message-based flows and identify issues across systems.\nCore skills you’ll bring\nMinimum 5 years of experience in backend/integration testing or system integration.\n\nStrong knowledge of API and integration testing, including REST, SOAP, synchronous/asynchronous communication, error handling, retries, timeouts and complex integration flows.\n\nHands-on experience with Java test automation, preferably using RestAssured, Serenity BDD or similar frameworks.\n\nGood understanding of JSON, XML, schemas and API contracts.\n\nKnowledge of SQL and ability to independently validate data at database level.\n\nExperience with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins and logging/monitoring tools such as Kibana or Elasticsearch.\n\nFamiliarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, JIRA, TestRail or equivalent tools.\n\nAbility to independently analyze integration services, design test coverage and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, analysts and testers.\n\nSlovak/Czech - native speaker, English proficiency at B1 level or higher.\n\nNice-to-have\nExperience with Apache Camel, TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO EMS or other ESB/integration platforms.\n\nKnowledge of Kafka, JMS, Enterprise Integration Patterns and message-driven architectures.\n\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes and service virtualization (mocks, stubs, proxies).\n\nPerformance and load testing experience using JMeter, LoadRunner or similar tools.\n\nExperience in the Telecommunications industry, particularly BSS/OSS and integration processes.\n\nExperience with enterprise integration platform migration or modernization.\n\nKnowledge of BPMN and Camunda.\n\nExperience with AI-assisted development and test automation tools.\n\nThe impact you'll create\nDesign and execute integration tests covering APIs, message contracts, transformations, routing, error handling and end-to-end flows.\n\nDevelop reusable Java test automation components for multiple integration services.\n\nBuild automated tests for TIBCO-to-Apache Camel migration releases and establish a sustainable regression test suite.\n\nImplement comparative testing to verify behavioral consistency between legacy TIBCO and new Camel implementations.\n\nAutomate synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios involving Kafka and JMS.\n\nAnalyze logs and trace transactions using Kibana/Elasticsearch and correlation IDs.\n\nValidate data consistency using SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL).\n\nCreate mocks, stubs and test data to simulate upstream/downstream systems.\n\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nDefine testing standards and best practices for Camel integration services.\n\nCollaborate with developers to identify test scenarios and improve service testability.\n\nAnalyze test failures, identify root causes and distinguish between automation, environment, data and implementation issues.\n\nDocument solutions and ensure knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.\n\n What supports your journey\nPleasant working environment and stable background in one of the largest software development companies in the world\n\nSpace to work independently and creatively with the possibility to implement your own ideas and opportunities to learn new things and approaches\n\nYou have the opportunity to influence your direction in the company\n\nHigh quality hardware and software, access to the latest technologies and specific projects\n\nOpportunities to improve your language skills, we are a major global player\n\nAt Avenga, you'll get quality support in your development thanks to a wide range of internal and external training courses, so you can push the boundaries of your competences\n\nThe guaranteed minimum salary for this position is €2,700 gross per month.
