You’ll focus on building and operating secure, reliable and high-performing infrastructure across CDN, WAF, DNS and edge security, while driving automation and SRE best practices.\nYou’ll work closely with development, infrastructure and security professionals to improve platform reliability, performance, security and operational efficiency.\nCore skills you’ll bring\nStrong experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and/or Platform Engineering\n\nHands-on experience with Akamai CDN, WAF, DNS and Edge Security\n\nStrong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience\n\nExperience with CI/CD, GitOps and Kubernetes\n\nExperience with Azure and/or AWS\n\nAutomation or development skills in C#, .NET, Go, Python, PowerShell or JavaScript\n\nStrong knowledge of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, monitoring and observability\n\nNice-to-have\nExperience with Akamai Property Manager, Application & API Protector, Bot Manager, EdgeWorkers or GTM\n\nExperience with Akamai APIs and platform automation\n\nKnowledge of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets and capacity planning\n\nExperience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins\n\nThe impact you'll create\nDesign and manage Akamai CDN, WAF, DNS and Edge Security solutions\n\nOptimize security policies, traffic routing, caching, bot protection and certificate management\n\nAutomate infrastructure and platform operations using Terraform, IaC and APIs\n\nBuild and maintain monitoring, alerting and CI/CD solutions\n\nTroubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis\n\nImprove platform reliability, performance, availability and security\n\n What supports your journey\nCollaboration with experienced engineering, infrastructure and security professionals\n\nExposure to modern SRE, cloud, automation and edge technologies\n\nOpportunities to contribute to platform improvements and technical initiatives\n\nAn environment that supports continuous learning and professional growth\n\nPeople are at the core of Avenga.
