This role is responsible for defining platform direction, guiding architecture and design decisions, and developing scalable, secure, and efficient ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise service management and workflow automation.\nThe ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical lead for the platform, bridging business requirements with platform capabilities while also designing, developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow solutions. This role combines SME-level ownership with developer-level execution, ensuring strong governance, high-quality delivery, and long-term platform sustainability.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlatform Leadership, Strategy & Governance\nServe as the primary technical lead and subject matter expert for the ServiceNow platform.\n\nDefine and enforce platform governance, standards, and best practices.\n\nProvide strategic direction for ServiceNow roadmap and architecture.\n\nEnsure alignment with ITSM/ITIL and enterprise standards.\n\nSolution Architecture, Development & Configuration\nDesign and implement ServiceNow solutions including workflows and applications.\n\nConfigure ITSM, CMDB, and Service Catalog modules.\n\nDevelop scripts: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes.\n\nRecommend configuration vs customization strategies.\n\nWorkflow Automation & Process Improvement\nDesign and implement automated workflows.\n\nDrive automation initiatives to improve efficiency.\n\nIdentify opportunities to reduce manual effort.\n\nImplementation, Delivery & Platform Support\nLead development lifecycle activities including testing and deployment.\n\nSupport enhancements and production issues.\n\nManage platform upgrades and releases.\n\nIntegration, CMDB & Data Management\nDevelop integrations with enterprise systems.\n\nMaintain CMDB and ensure data integrity.\n\nManage data imports and transformations.\n\nStakeholder Engagement, Mentorship & Documentation\nGather requirements and translate into technical solutions.\n\nMentor team members and perform code reviews.\n\nMaintain technical documentation and reports.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of ServiceNow development and administration experience\n\nExpertise in ITSM, CMDB, and Service Catalog\n\nStrong JavaScript and Glide API knowledge\n\nExperience with REST/SOAP integrations\n\nUnderstanding of ITIL/ITSM processes\n\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS)\n\nExperience with ITOM, HRSD, or CSM modules\n\nAgile/Scrum experience\n\nEnterprise-scale ServiceNow environment experience\n\nLocation\nThis role is based out of our Frisco, TX office and follows a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week in office), with travel as needed.\nWhat We Offer\nWe believe great work deserves great support.
