Since then, we've continued to grow rapidly as adoption of AI in financial services accelerates, and we're now scaling our team to meet that demand.\nThe Role\nWe're looking for a Solutions Engineer to help design and deliver the technical side of our client implementations. You'll sit between our clients, Sales, Product, Engineering and external delivery partners, working out what each client needs and turning it into a practical technical solution.\nYou'll be involved from the first technical conversation with a prospect through to go-live: shaping solutions, planning integrations, coordinating delivery and making sure everything works as agreed. It's a role for someone who enjoys both the people side and the technical side of delivery, and who wants to keep growing their hands-on technical skills.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nSupporting Sales with technical qualification, client questions and discovery, and helping decide whether requirements can be met with existing capabilities, standard integrations or new development.\n\nWorking with clients to understand their systems, data, integration needs and constraints, and turning these into clear requirements and deliverables for Product, Engineering and delivery partners.\n\nContributing to technical delivery plans covering milestones, responsibilities, resources, risks and dependencies, acting as a key technical contact for clients and leading smaller engagements.\n\nSupporting the configuration and delivery of integrations with our Engineering teams and external delivery partners, tracking progress and helping resolve blockers.\n\nCoordinating technical testing, validating solutions against agreed requirements and supporting go-live and early-life support.\n\nKeeping clear documentation of requirements, data flows, configurations and technical decisions, and helping build reusable delivery patterns.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience in a client-facing technical, consulting or software implementation role.\n\nExperience gathering client requirements and translating them into technical deliverables.\n\nExperience supporting software implementations or integrations.\n\nAn understanding of APIs, JSON, data mappings and software integrations.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication, and strong client and stakeholder management.\n\nStrong organisation, problem-solving and attention to detail.\n\nThe ability to learn new technical concepts and tools quickly, and to take ownership while asking for support when needed.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience in SaaS, AI or financial services.\n\nExperience working with Engineering teams or external development partners.\n\nFamiliarity with authentication, webhooks, CRM integrations or cloud services.\n\nExperience with scripting, source control or software configuration.\n\nExperience supporting quality assurance and user acceptance testing.\n\nAn interest in AI, machine learning and financial services.\n\nWhy Join Aveni?\nYou'll play a central part in getting AI into production at financial services firms, working on real integrations with real client systems.
