More details are below.\n\nJOB TYPE\n12 Months Contract\n\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nWorking with a system infrastructure team;\nResponsible for the operations, support, maintenance, research and development to ensure continual innovation of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system;\nEffective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for on-premise environment and on Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC);\nParticipation in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure;\nEnsures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners; and Accountable for the following systems:\no Red Hat Linux and Windows;\no Middleware includes WebSphere Application Servers, WebSphere Message Queue.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nRecognised degree with a technical major such as engineering, data communications or computer science. Diploma holders with relevant experience and expertise will be considered;\nSystem Engineer certification in Red Hat Linux and/or Microsoft including Cloud;\nMinimum 3 years system administration experience;\nGood written and verbal communication skills;\nStrong technical troubleshooting skills;\nAble to work well both independently as well as in a team;\nKnowledge and experience in Red Hat Linux scripting; and\nThe skills for the following will be considered as an advantage:\no AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GCC\no Terraform and Ansible\no Gitlab\n\nWHAT'S ON OFFER\nYou will be remunerated with an excellent salary and be entitled to attractive company benefits.
