In this role, you will be responsible for migrating on-premises applications to AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). You'll collaborate closely with application and data teams to ensure they have a solid, scalable platform for deploying their solutions. If you thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment and have a desire to continually learn while building cutting-edge cloud solutions, we want to hear from you!\nKey Responsibilities:\nCloud Infrastructure & Operations:\nImplement robust solutions on AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, VPC, S3, RDS, and Document DB.\nManage infrastructure changes via IaC (Terraform), ensuring scalable environments with EC2, ALB, NLB, EBS, and EFS.\nMigrate workloads to AWS, ensuring seamless transitions.\nAutomate deployments and data resilience using Python, shell scripting, and SSM.\nImplement monitoring, alerting, and security with CloudWatch, SNS, CloudFront, and WAF.\nAdminister Linux and Windows environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.\nSupport incident management and participate in the on-call rotation.\nCollaboration & Continuous Improvement:\nWork with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver customized AWS solutions.\nCollaborate on CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub, Terraform, Jenkins, and AWS services.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation and stay updated with industry trends.\nCollaborate in an agile environment to deliver high-quality work.\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nRequirements:\n3+ years of experience with core AWS services, such as IAM, networking, security, and operations.\nStrong understanding of both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Document DB, MongoDB).\nProficiency in at least one programming language, such as Bash, Python, or Go, with additional expertise in Linux administration, Windows, and shell scripting.\nSolid understanding and experience building systems using AWS compute services, such as EC2, and serverless platforms like AWS Lambda.\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform, and a clear understanding of infrastructure pipeline concepts.\nExperience implementing AWS database solutions, such as RDS, DynamoDB, or Aurora.\nFamiliarity with network protocols and IP networking, along with experience in network troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of security best practices and a commitment to integrating them into daily tasks and projects.\nExperience with monitoring tools, such as Splunk, Grafana, and logging solutions like the ELK stack.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.\nExcellent communication skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure in cloud environments like AWS or Google Cloud.\nAWS technical certification, such as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.\nSkilled in collaborative projects with distributed teams and working with agile methodologies such as Scrum.\nWillingness to stay updated on key AWS technologies and innovations.\nInternal drive to learn, improve, and succeed with a keen eagerness to embrace challenges.\nAvePoint is proud to employ talent from many different backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
