To learn more, visit www.avepoint.com.\nOverview\nAvePoint is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in finance system implementation projects to join our Client Services division.\nIn this role, you will work closely with finance stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to analyze financial business processes, gather requirements, and support the implementation and enhancement of enterprise finance systems. You will play a key role in translating accounting and operational needs into scalable system solutions and ensuring successful project delivery.\nWhat will you be doing?\nThe Business Analyst analyzes financial business processes and supporting systems, develops As-Is and To-Be workflows, and ensures business and functional requirements are clearly defined throughout the project lifecycle.\nYour Responsibilities Will Include:\nLead requirements gathering activities for finance system implementation and enhancement projects.\n\nAnalyze and document finance-related business processes, workflows, and system requirements.\n\nPrepare key deliverables including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.\n\nTranslate finance and accounting requirements into functional specifications understandable by technical teams.\n\nCollaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and Operations stakeholders to understand business needs.\n\nSupport system configuration discussions, data migration validation, and integration activities.\n\nParticipate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment support.\n\nWork with developers and subject matter experts to balance business usability with system performance and compliance needs.\n\nSupport project managers in planning deliverables, scope, timelines, and project execution.\n\nFacilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to drive requirement alignment and solution adoption.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nWe seek individuals who are agile, passionate, and collaborative-those who bring fresh ideas and are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact.\nTo succeed in this role, you should have:\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n\nProven experience as a Business Analyst supporting finance or ERP system implementation projects.\n\nStrong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and producing As-Is and To-Be documentation.\n\nUnderstanding of end-to-end finance processes such as billing, invoicing, instalments, refunds, reconciliation, and financial reporting.\n\nKnowledge of accounting concepts including revenue recognition, journal entries, reconciliation, and write-offs.\n\nExperience working with finance systems such as SAP Finance, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics Finance, or similar platforms is preferred.\n\nStrong analytical and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\n\nAbility to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExperience supervising junior
