If you are driven by challenges and working with the edge of IT technology, come and have a chat with us to determine if this position will be a good fit for your career aspiration.\nWhat will you be doing?\nAs a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, your job is to primarily work with cross-functional teams, as well as with external vendors, partners, and customers to fulfil the project deliverables. You will be tasked with developing and managing project schedules, scopes, resources, and monitoring of project health.\nYour Responsibilities Will Include\n\nWork with customers, internal stakeholders, external vendors to initiate a project. Clearly define project goal and objective, project scope, deliverables, schedule, cost, payment milestone, and prepare project management plan. Lay a solid foundation for project execution.\nAssemble and direct project team, lead and drive the project team for throughout actual project execution.\nUnify team efforts and lead effective team meetings, lead communication and promote collaboration, resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks from both external and internal counterparts. Work alongside an international team from other regions when necessary.\nIdentify potential risks early, analyse possible impact, and develop mitigation strategies.\nEstablish project budgets and track spending; adjust as necessary to keep the project within financial boundaries while achieving fiscal efficiency.\nMaintain open and transparent communication with clients and stakeholders. Closely monitor project progress and provide regular updates to various levels of stakeholders externally to client and internally to PMO office.\nManage client’s expectation effectively.\nImplement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet agreed-upon standards and satisfy client requirements. Holding CSM and CSPO will be an added advantage.\nDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Project Management, General Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics or relevant fields.\nMinimally 3 years of project management experience to qualify for the Project Manager role, and minimally 8 years of project management experience to qualify for the Senior Project Manager role.\nPractical knowledge and experience on software development lifecycle, and waterfall and agile approach and methodologies.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills, fast learner with a passion for technology.\nGeneral knowledge and understanding with Microsoft technologies, application programming, database and system design.\nExperience in common project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, etc.\nProficient in Microsoft Office software.\nSelf-starter and proven ability to provide leadership and manage the execution of enterprise IT software implementations.\nHaving an eye for details and having potential to see roadblocks or risks down the line.\nComfortable in working collaboratively.\nDemonstrated success managing priorities and personalities in cross-functional teams.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nFast learner with a passion for technology.\nAbility to read and speak Mandarin Chinese or Vietnamese will be an added advantage.\nSoftware vendor / system integration service provider-based background will be an added advantage.\nAbout AvePoint\n Check out our careers blog for content on our people, culture, and workplace!\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
