Discover how you can unleash your potential with us!\nJob Summary\nAs a Software Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems. You will work closely with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive test strategies, automate testing processes, and drive improvements in agile testing practices.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist Product Owner and Business Analyst in crafting user story acceptance criteria.\nAnalyze complex software systems and design comprehensive test strategies.\nConduct research on emerging technologies and develop test automation frameworks.\nDevelop and maintain test suites, including test scenarios and test cases.\nPerform time-boxed exploratory testing and refine smoke test suites in the CI environment.\nManage the regression test suite in QA nightly builds.\nLead system integration testing and manage user acceptance testing.\nManage the defect lifecycle, test artifacts, and repository.\nDrive continuous improvements in agile testing tools and practices.\nTake on a secondary role as an Application Performance Engineer or Application Security Engineer.\nExperience and Skills Needed:\nMinimum 3 years of experience in exploratory testing and regression test automation.\nExperience in modern web applications development using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Kotlin/Java.\nExperience in the development of CI/CD pipelines and application deployment using cloud services such as AWS.\nExperience in database migration is a plus.\nWorking experience in an Agile/SCRUM setup is advantageous.\nStrong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.\nExcellent verbal communication and listening skills.\nProactive, self-driven, and motivated.\nGood interpersonal skills, including tactfulness, presentation, and listening skills.\nProficiency with testing tools such as Robot Framework, SikuliX, Selenium, Playwright, Micro Focus Testing Tools (Mobile Center, UFT, QC, Sprinter), or EggPlant.\nCertified Software Testing Professional and/or Certified Software Quality Analyst is preferred.\nDegree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\nAvePoint is proud to employ talent from many different backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
