This role combines strong technical expertise with customer-facing engagement and commercial awareness. \nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in pre-sales within a fast-paced and innovative technology environment. \nKey responsibilities:\nSupport customers through evaluation, proof-of-concept and decision-making stages\nBuild and configure demo and proof-of-concept environments\nContribute to RFI/RFP responses, articulating business value and technical capability\nPartner with Sales to understand customer objectives and position solutions effectively\nBuild strong relationships with key business and technical stakeholders\nSupport partner and marketing activities including events, webinars and workshops \nProvide feedback to product and technical teams on market trends and customer requirements\nTake ownership of the technical aspects of deals through to close\nAct as a technical evangelist for the business, representing the company at industry events, webinars, customer workshops, partner sessions, and community forums.\nDevelop and promote a professional presence within the Microsoft ecosystem and wider technology community through thought leadership, content creation, speaking engagements, and networking activities.\nSupport brand awareness and pipeline generation by sharing market insights, customer success stories, and technical expertise across internal and external channels.\nDeliver compelling presentations to both technical and executive audiences, translating complex concepts into clear business value.\nContribute to the growth of the company's market presence by building credibility, influence, and trusted relationships within target customer and partner communities.\nWhat you will bring: \nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience \nStrong presentation and communication skills, with confidence engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders \nFluent in English (additional European languages are advantageous but not required) \nAbility to translate technical concepts into clear business value \nCommercial mindset with an interest in sales and customer outcomes \nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills \nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment \nAdaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-changing environment \nTechnical skills: \nExperience with Microsoft 365 technologies (including SharePoint Online) \nKnowledge of Microsoft Azure and identity technologies (e.g. Entra ID) \nUnderstanding of identity, access and permissions management \nFamiliarity with networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, SMTP, DHCP) \nKnowledge of data protection, backup, migration, and governance concepts \nUnderstanding of SharePoint architecture and cloud/hybrid environments \nBroader awareness of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is beneficial \nWorking at AvePoint: \nWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels supported and valued.
