About the Role
As Systems Business Analyst, you will translate business needs into clear requirements, maintain system documentation and platform inventory, support UAT, and produce operational reporting that improves reliability and adoption.
You will sit between business stakeholders and technical implementers, partnering closely with Marketing Operations, CRM, Analytics, Engineering, and GTM stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong business analysis skills, technical curiosity, systems thinking, and the ability to turn complex business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how systems work, asking questions, defining requirements, and ensuring projects are built correctly before they are released.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, workflow maps, business processes, and success metrics.
- Maintain platform inventory, ownership maps, integration documentation, and data architecture documentation.
- Define and run UAT processes, including testing plans, acceptance criteria, defect documentation, stakeholder validation, and release readiness.
- Support reporting requests and operational dashboards (health, SLA, adoption, and business process performance).
- Partner with engineering resources on delivery planning, dependency tracking, and solution design.
- Collaborate with CRM, Analytics, Marketing Operations, and Development teams to ensure data structures and system workflows support business objectives.
- Support AI and technology initiatives through requirements gathering, process design, testing, and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years in Systems Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, or related roles supporting SaaS platforms.
- Experience working within a mid-market or enterprise B2B SaaS organization.
- Strong research and documentation skills and comfort mapping workflows, business processes, system integrations, and data flows.
- Strong SQL skills and comfort with data validation, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting support.
- Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting validation.
- Experience coordinating UAT and stakeholder sign-off.
- Experience working with CRM platforms, integrated technology ecosystems, and business data models.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MAP/CRM ecosystems.
- Experience supporting Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or GTM Operations functions.
- Experience documenting data architecture, integrations, and system ownership frameworks.
- Experience with agile delivery environments.
- Exposure to AI, automation, or business transformation initiatives.

The Salary Range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
