Join a collaborative team who values AVER’s mission, focus, and culture of delivering exceptional client service with great people and transformative technology solutions that ensure Government mission success.\nResponsibilities Include:\nDemonstrated success delivering solutions across the full systems development lifecycle, leveraging deep technical expertise to understand scope and ensure successful project delivery\nSupport covers of all websites, web-enabled data-entry systems, standalone and client-server applications, and collaborative computing products\nDesign, develop, enhance, debugs, implement, and troubleshoot production problems related to software applications\nResearch, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements\nDesign and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software and evaluates effectiveness of solutions \nAddress problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms\nConsult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements\nPerform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management\nAssist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools\nResolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements\nParticipate in development of software user manuals and technical reports\nAct as senior developer overseeing projects and providing guidance, oversight and mentorship to less senor staff \nProvide technical expertise and guidance to clients and team\nConduct code reviews and review work of team members \nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Applied experience as a Senior .Net Developer with skills to convey mastery of required experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement\nExperience Requirements:\n8+ years of technical analysis experience as a .Net Software Application Developer\nExperience with programming languages including Microsoft C# (.Net CORE), Microsoft .NET 6 or greater, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or greater\nExperience using GitHub Actions or another DevOps tool\nExperience with MVC Design Patterns and MVVM Design Patterns \nExperience with ORM and database technologies including Entity Framework Core (EF Core) 6 or greater\nExperience with relational databases (SQL Server 2016 or above, Oracle 12c or above)\nExperience with front-end development tools including JQuery, AJAX, Telerik Kendo UI or similar UI frameworks\nExperience with web services including RESTful Web Services\nExperience with back-end services including Windows Services, ASP.NET Core\nExperience implementing authentication protocols SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect\nExperience working with JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for secure API communication\nExperience with role-based access control (RBAC) and claims-based authentication\nExperience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems (Windows Server 2019 or above)\nExperience with Agile Scrum methodology \nExperience with security and identity management \nKnowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles\nLocation:\nWashington, DC\nON SITE, 2- 5 days per week required\nSecurity Requirements:\nAbility to obtain and maintain government clearance (Public Trust) \nThis role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship \nCompensation Package:\nAt AVER, we believe our people are the foundation of our success and are committed to providing meaningful work, competitive compensation, and a supportive environment where employees can grow while making a direct impact on critical Government missions.
