This role is technically focused on the testing of SharePoint solutions.Join a collaborative team who values AVER’s mission, focus, and culture of delivering exceptional client service with great people and transformative technology solutions that ensure Government mission success.\nResponsibilities include:\nAbility to understand the full systems development lifecycle with well-rounded technical expertise\nLead and manage junior resources on the team\nDesign, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software\nTroubleshoot production problems related to software applications\nResearch, test,build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements\nDesign and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software\nEvaluates effectiveness\nAddressproblems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms\nConsult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements\nPerform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management\nAssist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools\nResolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements\nAct as team leader on projects\nInstruct, assign, direct, and check the work of others on the development team\nParticipate in development of software user manuals and technical reports.\nAssist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) deliverables and artifacts\nLead and manage junior resources on the team\nProvide technical expertise and guidance to clients and team\nDevelop a project plan with milestones, define a conceptual and detailed system design, and document system requirements\nDevelop sites and applications as required by the client\nPerform implementation, operations and life cycle maintenance for all sites/applications designated by the client and coordinate with other IT components as well as any COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) vendor as required\nReview and develop Chane Management (CM) artifacts and ensures that all documents meet client specifications\nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent/related field\nExperience Requirements:\n8+ years of technical analysis experienceas a Senior SharePoint Developer\nDevelopment of custom SharePoint solutions using any combination of JavaScript, Angular, or any other appropriate programming language on SharePoint O365\nDeep Experience with SharePoint Online O365\nExperience supporting per missioningchange requests, new team sites, pages, lists, calendars, document libraries, custom workflows, and general day-to-day SharePoint-related work as required\nTechnical Writing Services to provide user guides for all new and existing applications\nExperience documenting implementation guides for new site/application deployments as well as network diagrams, system wiring diagrams, and process flow charts\nAssisted Government personnel in conducting requirements analysis and/or system design\nDesired Requirements:\nExperience with adherence to government development and testing standards\nLed, managed, and mentored junior testing resources\nProvided Tier III end user support and training for SharePoint sites and applications\nLocation:\nWashington, DC\nON SITE, 2- 5 days per week required\nSecurity Requirements:\nAbility to obtain and maintain government clearance (Public Trust)\nThis role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship\nCompensation Package:\nAt AVER, we believe our people are the foundation of our success and are committed to providing meaningful work, competitive compensation, and a supportive environment where employees can grow while making a direct impact on critical Government missions.
