This role is technically focused from a software development lifecycle perspective to deploy products into a production environment. Join a collaborative team who values AVER’s mission, focus, and culture of delivering exceptional client service with great people and transformative technology solutions that ensure Government mission success.\nResponsibilities Include:\nSupport full systems development lifecycle \nWrite test cases, test plans, and test scripts\nPerform integration testing to ensure requirements have been correctly developed\nPerform a production readiness review for acceptance and implementation\nSupport websites, web-enabled data-entry systems, standalone and client-server applications, and collaborative computing products\nPerform formal system testing activities for a particular project or subset of a larger project under supervision of more experienced test personnel\nPerform analysis of documented user requirements and directs or assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements for moderately complex to complex software or IT systems\nParticipate in all phases of risk management assessment and software/hardware development\nEnsure test design and documentation support all applicable clients, agency or industry standards timelines and budgets.\nEnsure testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results, and project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements\nTroubleshoot production problems related to software applications\nResearch and tests integration of new products based on client requirements\nAddress problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms\nConsult with project teams to identify application requirements\nPerform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management\nAssist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools\nAssist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) deliverables and artifacts\nTest across User Administrative functions, legacy data migration processes, queries and reports, and interface process to an existing system\nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent technical skills in lieu of a degree\nExperience Requirements:\n8+ years of experience with Software Testing supporting .Net Development teams\nKnowledge of how to utilize test tools for .Net/ C# application and software development testing\nAbility to document test scenarios, cases, plans, and scripts\nAbility to write test cases and process workflows\nLiaise with client leadership\nDesired Requirements:\nExperience with Microsoft Azure DevOps\nKnowledge of Agile Scrum & Kanban methods \nLocation:\nWashington, DC\nON SITE, 2 days perweek required\nSecurity Requirements:\nAbility to obtain and maintain governmentclearance (Public Trust)\nThis role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship \nCompensation Package:\nAt AVER, we believe our people are the foundation of our success and are committed to providing meaningful work, competitive compensation, and a supportive environment where employees can grow while making a direct impact on critical Government missions.
