Reporting to the HTL Production Manager, you are responsible for the direct supervision and disciplinary management of production teams, ensuring operational excellence across the Plant.\nSchedule: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM\nCore Responsibilities\nTeam Leadership & Talent Development\nDirect Supervision: Manage all aspects of personnel, including hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, and disciplinary actions.\n\nPerformance Management: Utilize the Global Performance Management System to set annual goals, provide regular feedback, and track staff development.\n\nTraining: Identify skill gaps and provide targeted training opportunities to attract and retain high-potential talent.\n\nAdministrative Oversight: Manage timekeeping, overtime, vacation scheduling, and labor allocation.\n\nOperational Excellence & Strategy\nWorkflow Optimization: Alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions, controlling load factors to maximize capacity and tool utilization.\n\nInventory & Logistics: Supervise warehouse operations (shipping/receiving, picking/packing) and analyze inventory reports to manage slow-moving or surplus stock.\n\nMetric Ownership: Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) across safety, cost, quality, inventory, and service.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Lead 5S activities, housekeeping, and waste reduction programs to minimize process complexity.\n\nSafety & Compliance\nSafety Leadership: Foster a safety-conscious culture through monthly meetings, daily huddles, and active participation in safety initiatives.\n\nQuality Assurance: Execute frequent audits to ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices.\n\nEthics: Model and promote the corporate Code of Business Ethics and Values.\n\n Education & Experience\nEducation: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or related field) preferred.\n\nLeadership: 5+ years of production leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nTechnical Background: Proven experience in printing processes (HTL, screen press, or graphic printing) is highly preferred.\n\nCore Competencies\nAnalytical Skills: Ability to analyze operational data to drive daily improvements.\n\nOperational Planning: Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and resource control.\n\nChange Management: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams through process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience in the aftermarket business sector.\n\nSpecific expertise in screen press operation.\n\n The salary range for this position is $68,400 - $80,000 / year.\nThe hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting.
