Fit and assemble parts to fabricate or repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines. Ensure that equipment and processes are maintained in a preventive fashion to ensure optimum reliability and up time.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:\nAssemble new and rebuild existing equipment.\n\nSetup and install equipment, upgrades and retrofits off-site.\n\nProvide training for operation of new equipment.\n\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment on and off-site.\n\nOperate powered and manual hand tools.\n\nElectrical work\nRead electrical prints\n\nReplace faulty parts\n\nPull and terminate wires\n\nTroubleshoot problems\n\nPneumatic installation and repair.\n\nMaintain 9514XLS, Robot and other converting equipment.\n\nOperate fork lift.\n\nMaintain and manage parts inventory\n\nOrder and receive new parts\n\nTrain operators on new and refabricated equipment\n\nProvide support to the department for plant improvement or facility projects, as needed.\n\nMust be available to work overtime days/hours as needed for emergency repairs.\n\nMust be able to work proficiently with minimal supervision.\n\nMay be required to travel to remote facilities up to 25% of the time.\n\nOther duties as assigned by management.\n\nRegular attendance is an essential function of this position.\n\nCompliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.\n\nCompliance with all Company policies including all safety policies and procedures is required.\n\n Education and/or Experience\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge to include Google, MS Word and Excel.\n\nAdditional information\nWork Environment\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a manufacturing environment.\nThe Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job in a manufacturing environment.\nJob requires standing over 75% of the time on a daily basis.\n\nAbility to lift 50 pounds with full range of motion.\n\nAbility to work from standing, kneeling and stooping positions.\n\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
