Join our team as a Label Machine Operator! In this role, you will own the operation of our label manufacturing equipment, ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently to meet customer demand.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOperate & Maintain: Set up, calibrate, and run label machines according to daily job schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain and handle dies carefully to ensure continuous line performance.\n\nTroubleshoot & Improve: Monitor equipment for accuracy and quality. Identify root causes of malfunctions and partner with supervisors to resolve production issues.\n\nInventory & Systems: Log raw materials accurately in the ERP system using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods to minimize waste and track quality control.\n\nSafety & Workplace: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation. Strictly follow all plant safety rules, policies, and required PPE guidelines.\n\nTeam Collaboration: Assist with distribution tasks and support team members across shifts when needed.\n\n What You Bring\nExperience: 1-2 years of experience in machine operation, manufacturing, or mechanical equipment setup.\n\nMechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills with a drive to understand equipment operation.\n\nAttention to Detail: Ability to distinguish colors, read fine measurements, and perform visual quality checks at close range (20 inches or less).\n\nPhysical Stamina: Comfortable standing most of the shift, reaching, and safely lifting up to 50 lbs.\n\nEducation: High School Diploma or GED.\n\nThe hiring wage rate range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting.
