Are you a hands-on problem solver with strong curiosity and technical skill? Avery Dennison is looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure maximum operational uptime for our facility and manufacturing equipment. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems, and drive root-cause solutions to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.
Shift: C Team, 7pm-7am, 2-2-3
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose, inspect, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools.
Preventative Maintenance: Follow predictive and preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, reduce waste, and improve machine performance.
Electrical & Automated Systems: Install, inspect, and repair motors, wiring, switchboards, relays, and circuit breakers in compliance with safety standards.
Continuous Improvement: Partner with production teams and engineers to identify root causes of equipment issues and implement long-term fixes.
Safety & Quality: Inspect and maintain shop equipment in alignment with OSHA standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Facility Support: Support general facility upkeep, including HVAC, plumbing, and routine grounds maintenance as needed.
High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
3+ years of industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical repair experience.
Strong analytical, mechanical, and logical troubleshooting aptitude.
Relevant technical certifications/licenses are preferred (or obtained within specified timeline).
