You will support the team in executing day-to-day operations, including planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment to ensure the smooth running of the office and a safe workplace for all employees.\nKey Responsibilities\nThis position is based on-site in Turnhout.\nPerform routine utility and facilities services for the entire plant office.\n\nOrganize and oversee repair and maintenance works to keep all building assets and utilities in safe and proper condition, including mechanical, electrical, pumping (MEP), automation, air conditioners, and fire & security systems.\n\nMonitor the progress and quality of work performed by in-house staff and contractors, report defects or irregularities, and collaborate closely with external contractors on a regular basis.\n\nPerform utility/facility and equipment performance assessments, providing recommendations for repairs or replacements and managing parts inventory control in cost-effective ways.\n\nManage the safety of any onsite engineering works, conduct all periodical checking and testing, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and support the planning, budgeting, and scheduling of maintenance and modifications.\n\n Required:\n3+ years of experience as an Engineer in a utility/facility environment.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.\n\nSkills you need to succeed:\nStrong problem solving, decision analysis, and situation appraisal skills.\n\nAbility to influence others, work across functions, and take decisions autonomously while remaining a proactive, accurate, and collaborative team player.\n\nApproachable demeanor with strong presentation and facilitation skills, and effectiveness in giving and receiving feedback.\n\n What We Offer\nHere's a glimpse of the great benefits you can expect:\n- Comprehensive Financial & Health Security: Fully employer-funded group insurance, and Hospitalization insurance.
