As an EHS Coordinator at Vestcom (an Avery Dennison company), you will play a key role in driving environmental compliance, occupational health, and safety programs across our U.S. manufacturing facilities. Working autonomously with limited supervision, you will conduct hazard assessments, lead root-cause incident investigations, and foster a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. This position offers direct career advancement across both Vestcom and the global Avery Dennison enterprise.\nShift: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm\nHiring Rate: $20.88-27.84/hr\nKey Responsibilities\nSafety Culture & Compliance: Implement EHS systems, conduct facility audits, and ensure daily adherence to OSHA, EPA, and internal EHS standards.\n\nHazard Assessment & Incident Prevention: Facilitate risk assessments, self-inspections, and root-cause analyses to address deficiencies and track corrective actions.\n\nTraining & Advisory: Develop and deliver engaging site training while serving as a trusted EHS advisor to facility leadership and staff.\n\nMetrics & Reporting: Monitor leading and lagging performance indicators, track EHS metrics, and notify leadership or regulatory agencies of incidents as required.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Stay current on regulatory laws and partner with multi-site teams to support corporate EHS and sustainability initiatives.\n\n Qualifications\nExperience: 1-3+ years of EHS, occupational safety, or environmental compliance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.\n\nKnowledge: Foundational understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations, hazard assessments, and waste management practices.\n\nSkills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and educate team members across all levels of the organization.\n\nCompetencies: Strong problem-solving mindset (Curiosity), high personal accountability (Deliver Results), and a collaborative approach (Team Before Self).\n\nRequirements: Proficiency with Google Workspace or office tools; ability to travel up to 10%.\n\nThis position will sit near one of Vestcom’s manufacturing sites.\nSite locations included are Kansas City (New Century), KS, Phoenix, AZ, Los Angeles (Cerritos), CA, Seattle (Auburn), WA, Dallas, TX, Nashville (LaVergne), TN, Boston (South Easton), MA, Philadelphia (Bensalem), PA, Charlotte, NC, Columbus (Lewis Center), OH\n\n All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or other protected status.
